Examining the ninth and tenth commandments, which prohibit lying (bearing false witness) and covetousness, respectively. While these commandments may seem less tangible than the others, they are no less important in our daily lives. The ninth and tenth commandments call us to be truthful and content, recognizing that our relationship with God and others is built on a foundation of honesty and gratitude. May we strive to honor God by cultivating these virtues in our lives, and may He give us the strength to resist the temptation to lie or covet.
