Preparing for your visit
Here are a few things you can expect when you visit Redeemer Church for the first time.
Joyful, passionate worship: Using a mixture of recognizable hymns and contemporary worship songs, we love to sing praises to our Savior and begin each of our Sunday meetings with a time of singing.
"Pathfinders" Children's Ministry: We provide care for children between the ages of 1-10 years old. Our childcare for 1-5 year olds begins at 9:15 am, to allow families with older children to worship together in an undistracted way. After our time of singing, a volunteer will safely escort older children between the ages of 6-10 to the YMCA's secure childcare area. All children are pre-checked in before the service.
Biblically sound preaching: We love God's word and anticipate hearing it preached each week. We value sound doctrine and practical application. Our pastors teach through books of the Bible, emphasizing the sovereignty of God in salvation and the glory of God in the redemption of sinners. We value Gospel-centered preaching which places our ultimate hope in the perfect life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Times of prayer and personal ministry: As the Holy Spirit leads, we provide opportunities to respond to what God is doing in our hearts by praying for and ministering to one another.
Relaxed atmosphere: You'll notice that some like to dress up on Sundays and others don't. Feel free to wear what's comfortable for you and you'll fit right in.
Friendly people: We are a spiritual family of disciples of Jesus Christ, grateful for the grace of God. We walk this journey aware of our weaknesses and of the power of the Gospel which transforms our lives. We relish opportunities to serve the Lord together, share in biblical fellowship, encourage one another, meet practical needs and pray for each other.
